There are literally dozens of options out there for disposable diapers. But what do you pick? The next mission after becoming a mom is finding the brand that works best for your baby (and for your wallet)! In this case, I tried out the PC Supreme Stretchy Fit Diaper.

PC Supreme Stretchy Fit Diaper Review:

pc-supreme-stretchy-diaperIn previous experience, I have not been pleased with store brand disposable diapers. I found that they weren’t as absorbent and didn’t last as long between changings as some of the name brand diapers; however I have always been impressed by President’s Choice products so when I learned that they had a new line of disposable diapers, I was eager to try them.

The design of the packaging itself is simple with a clean white package and only a couple of pops of colour.  The diapers are also nice and simple, and feature images of musical instruments and the diaper size clearly visible on the front.

Upon first touch, I felt that the PC Supreme Stretchy Fit diapers had more of a plastic feel than my usual normal diaper brand. The diapers still seemed soft enough, though, and I didn’t worry about the diaper irritating O’s sensitive skin.

Once I had the diaper on O, I was quite please with how it fit. He was has worn size 6 diapers ever since he was around 9 months old (yes, he really was that big!).  Although he wore a size 6 diaper, the waist would fit but the diapers would go half way up his back or he would have a saggy little bum!  The PC Supreme Stretchy Fit diapers fit him nicely at the waist and have wide strong tabs to ensure a fully closed and secure diaper on all sides.

I left O in the diaper for a couple of hours as per my usual, I was very pleased when I went to change him. Despite having wet the diaper pretty heavily, his skin was nice and dry to the touch. The PC Supreme diapers certainly did their job, absorbed the wetness and kept his skin dry!  Throughout my time using the diapers, I had only one instance where he soaked through a diaper – and that was on a day where he seemed to be particularly thirsty and had consumed a larger than normal amount of liquid, plus we were out of the house and I didn’t change him as soon as I would have normally.

When it comes to cost, I compared the PC Supreme Stretchy Fit diapers to similar count packages of other brands available in the same store. I found that the PC diapers were on par with the other big brand diapers assuming that you were not using a coupon. As PC diapers are a store brand, I’m not sure that it would be as easy to discount the price (either with a store sale or a coupon), in which case the PC diapers might come in at slightly more per diaper than other brands that almost always have coupons available for them Of course, if you are not one to wait for sales or to keep coupons, then this is a non issue!

PC Supreme Stretchy Fit Diaper – Pros:

  • The diapers are hypoallergenic and fragrance-free with a super absorbent core, which keep wetness away from babies skin!
  • The back waistband helps prevent leakage.
  • The diapers have soft and stretchy sides for a snug, comfortable fit.
  • The size of the diaper is clearly printed on the diaper.
  • The cost per diaper is comparable with other big brand names.

PC Supreme Stretchy Fit Diaper – Cons:

I had no issues with the diapers and found them to be a great option.

Would I buy PC Supreme Stretchy Fit Diapers again?

If I was in need of diapers and didn’t have coupons or sales to fall back on, I would certainly purchase PC Supreme Diapers again.
